The Mirror

Found at The Pink Papers

The mirror can be unforgiving

Her reflection illuminates her flaws

Her skin too dry

Her teeth too big

Her hair too short

Her skin too pale

But not today

She runs her fingers across her welted bottom

And a smile overcomes her lips

She likes what she sees

I spend way too much time in front of the mirror. I feel for her. :-)

What a great little rhyme! And, you know, don't you sometimes find yourself a little disappointed that it doesn't look as horrid as it feels?? LOL

@sarah, Absolutely! Of course I tend to be a magic marker and color quite easily, but even for me sometimes when I look I think "that's it??"
